I just want to thank you for adding my story to your reading list and I hope that you enjoy it. I have been editing it quite a lot, the new version is also on here, under the same title (personally I think my new version is better than the old but if you want to read the old version that's fine as well I'm just happy that you've decided to give my story a go :D )
I know what you mean about the adding story thing, it does that to me as well and I'm not really sure on how you can avoid it sorry (this is on the app, if you use the actual website on a laptop or computer I think your search criteria doesn't disappear).
The side banner is only visible on the actual website when you use a computer or laptop, it's a a column to the right and the author can add image or youtube videos and make a cast list and this is where these are displayed, it isn't visible on the app as far as I know :')
