Yeah, it’s late, I know, but holy Spinjitzu, I think I just had the scare of a lifetime! (Please roll with me here, it was crazy.)
Picture this: It’s 9:30 at night, and I’m on the couch watching Ninjago Confidential. Suddenly, there’s this huge, rapid noise, and I jump, thinking the house is being shot at. I’m so scared I roll off the couch and crouch in front of it, so if the bullets come through the windows I’m less likely to get shot. (The back of the couch faces the windows.)
Turns out it’s fireworks.
But they aren’t the small fireworks you can buy at Lowe’s or something. They’re the big kind, the ones used for public displays!
Now, I live in a valley, so the hills around here make things quite echoey. As you can probably imagine, it was very loud, and it went on for a good 20 minutes. Talk about late Fourth of July!
Of course, I stuck around and watched them, once I realized what it was, but First Spinjitzu Master, I was so scared!
Thank you for listening to my late night, probably unintelligible thoughts. I’m so sorry, everyone who reads this.
