The name's Thane, Thane Kyrell. I used to be an imperial TIE pilot. I studied in the Royal Imperial Academy on Coruscant, accompanied by my best friend @Ciena-Ree

Everything changed when I saw those Bidach'i being slaved, monitored by Imperial Stormtroopers. 
it was all wrong. worse than wrong-evil. If the Bodach'i had defied the Emperor, sanctions might be appropriate, but not this. Nothing could justify punishing an entire race like that. Enslaving them?  
Why didn't someone help them?  
Then it hit me. Nobody helped the Bocach'i because they feared the Empire. And when I flew overhead, showing off my TIE fighter letting the populace hear it engines scream, I made them fear even more.  

"Listen to me," Ciena said. "As crazy as things are, we'll be together again. I don't  know where or when, but it will happen." 
"It will." he answered, brightening. "No matter what, I'm going to find you." 

"If he could go back, would he have the strength to choose a different path? 
‹Do I have the strength to do that now?› "
