The horror elements blend smoothly with the absurd humor, especially the eyes-in-the-dark moment followed immediately by Zinde’s frantic energy. The world feels alive and unpredictable, and Myrtle’s confusion makes the reader feel every twist with them. Despite the chaos, the tone stays sharp and entertaining. Nicely done.
