And time for some equine drama. I've been really unhappy with the ranch I keep Willow (remember her?) at. My trainer hasn't paid me yet for the days that I work for January and December. Willow's also allergic to alfalfa, but she ran out of her food - orchard grass - which was suppose to come in, drumroll please...... a little over a month ago. So she's been on alfalfa for a month, but she has yet to break out thanks to a little medicine. There is a tack room and boarders used to be able to keep their stuff in it alongside the lesson equipment (it was a little crowded, mainly with all the pads stacked on two racks), but now we don't have that! I litteraly have to haul my 20 pound saddle, heavy ass box, and saddle pad up and down a hill at least three times a week. My trainer also has stopped supplements (in hopes to return soon). They just moved last April, and they've been hard at work on just about everything, but what they're failing at are shelters for the horses. One side has shelter, but the other side - the side Willow's on - doesn't have any. My trainer literally just blocks off portions of the aisle and lets the horses in that when it rains. The efforts are appreciated, but we're just done dealing with all this. There's a lot more but I don't feel like turning this into a 20 chapter rant. My trainer is just the best person ever and is so nice and we love her, just not the facility.
