Some of the people in my Spanish class have been making transphobic comments about my bf and have been saying things abt top/bottom surgery. They also have said that I’m lying about my pencils being expensive because I got them through school. But they were rlly expensive anyway! And some people think different things are more or less expensive!

I was just talking about pride w my parents and my dad just said “I’m not waving my ‘straightness’ at you so why do you have to?” As like an offhand comment. I tried to explain using black history month as an example that he may understand, then my parents talked about how many times England has been invaded.
