BROOKLYN, NY . ( March 4 , 2026 ) The following statement was released today by ThatGingerMatt in response to questions about his future writing plans :

I take back everything I said yesterday cause that new PJO trailer got me feeling something

First off: Sup? You may be wondering why I haven't posted anything in a long time. If you don't care to read what's below (and I don't blame you), basically I just have no interest in writing at the moment. None. Zilch. I couldn't even tell you the last time I read a chapter on here. The app literally stopped giving me notifications cause I stopped opening it. 
          
          The why is simply I have other shit to worry about. I live in Brooklyn and use public transport for work. It's great but this means that every workday I spend 12 to 13 hours away from my place. Add in the 6 hours of sleep (if lucky) and the hour to get ready and I have somewhere from 4-5 hours a day to myself if I'm lucky. Let's add another hour for food and I'm usually at 3 hours for me everyday. I just have things I care way more about to do during those three hours than writing. Like gaming, watching tv/Netflix or just decompressing. Even know as I write this I literally just walked through the door. My motto with this has always been the second this feels like work, stop and don't continue until it doesn't. 
          
          Well it still feels very much like work
          
          So take all that into account and also add that on the weekends I want to actually leave my apartment and enjoy being outside and yeah writing kinda just gets punted to the curb. And i'm not sorry about that, I really couldn't care. So are any of the books dead/over/finished? Fuck no. Unless I say so I will always keeping planning them out. When or will I continue them? Who knows.
