Can someone tell me the appeal of Wattpad and having pushy “Best friends” like a best friend isn’t going to make you do stuff that you’re clearly uncomfortable with. They aren’t going to make you wear something that makes you feel self conscious because a best friends, in my opinion, is someone that knows about your insecurities and is there to reassure you. Also a best friend isn’t going to pry into your personal life and pull the “I’m you’re best friend we don’t keep secrets from each other” they’ll just be there and when you’re ready they’ll listen with no judgement. I’m getting super annoyed and mad about the trope that you’re best friend is someone that makes you uncomfortable but you can’t end the friendship or talk about it because said person is your “best friend”.
