@just-taesing ooh thank you for bringing that to my attention. I looked it up again and realized the rules of dialogue in English are different than in my first language. I'll have to look into that, thanks!!

            sorry for the late reply, i fell asleep :<
            
            but i noticed that there was usually a missing period or comma before the end quotes.  
            
            "For example, yours look like this" she explained.
            
            But it should look like this:
            
            "[Insert Text]," he said.
            or
            He said, "[Insert Text]."
            or
            "[Insert Text]," he said. "[Insert more text as a continuation of the last, spoken by the same person]."
            
            notes: if you're writing like the first one, the dialogue should always end in a comma since it isn't the end of the sentence yet. if you're writing like the third one, the not-dialogue sentence after the dialogue should end in a period even if the person speaking has more dialogue after.
            
            sorry if i got some info wrong, but this is what i've heard and seen in other books as well as the internet.
