i just had a really cool analog horror idea when i just woke up/general horror idea
          
          not bashing on christian or religious people or anything i just found a cool concept
          
          so
          god is like
          actually a sort of alien but eldritch being, basically making people believe in it n such as that makes it stronger, basically being a cognitohazard little guy trying to have control over earth
          and
          like
          
          other aliens have been trying to exterminate this thing's presence from the universe and such, basically getting rid of planets that are too far gone, making populus forget about it, etc. etc.
          and god responds by

          moving and hiding us farther away from those aliens, basically making us go off the radar since it's so desperate, and that's why we haven't seen or communicated with other aliens that would actually be mostly friendly n trying to help us
