update, she got a small part in the cutscene, like everyone else does, and she and baizhu can be found as NPCs afterward. not as much as I was hoping for, but c’mon, dendro better throw me some lore/interactions or something. she interacts with both known dendro users, dammit.

because I did, and I wrote something non-personal for the first time in 4 years. it was a crack fic about genshin characters in kfc, and I loved it
throwback to when I tried writing here... my first work was basically a knockoff Bridge to Terabithia and I hate it so much. it’s been 3-4 years since I’ve permanently deleted it but it still comes back to haunt me

Online friendships feel kinda weird to me. I don’t have a whole lot of really close friends IRL, but I’m still a little afraid of making friends with people online.
Maybe it’s the anonymity and lack of face-to-face interaction. Maybe it’s the horror stories about toxic or downright creepy Internet folks. Or maybe it’s due to a few bad experiences I’ve had with people online, be it in-game or in chat groups. I have no idea.
[Someone tried asking me for my phone number via team chat in Brawl Stars, and one member of an Amino group chat was acting really creepy to fellow chat members before the hosts caught on and kicked him out.]
I’ve heard stories of online friends eventually meeting up IRL and having fun, but that sorta thing feels like an impossible and far-fetched fantasy to me. Sometimes, I overthink and worry that they’d get into extremely personal or weird territory while chatting, which kinda sucks.
I don’t mind being there to listen and chit-chat, but please don’t get personal details and matters involved. I’ll much rather talk about our favourite in-game characters or weird online shit, thank you very much.
