Hey!
          
          Phew, it's been a while.  A few things-
          
          Firstly, the second chapter (Hunting Party) of Chronicles has been republished with a few corrections as I am never happy with something I churned out at 2 am. More chapters to come once I get over my crippling anxiety about writing canon characters (ironic, since most of what I write is fanfiction...). 
          
          I'm finishing up the semester this week, which is partially the reason for my silence. It's all done in the next two days but then I'll need a bit of recovery time! 
          
          No One Special is becoming a larger task than I originally intended, so I've been taking a break from that. With school being almost done and knowing myself, I expect it won't be too long until I pick it up again. 
          
          Does anyone else get nervous about writing canon characters?

Hey everyone! 
          
          Hope quarantine is treating you well, I know it’s personally making me go a little crazy. Hence why I’m going to start publishing a new story featuring Aina and gang. If I know people are waiting for more it might motivate me to publish more often xD no promises but I’ll do my best. 
          
          What’re you doing to pass the time these days?

          How’s the spring semester treating y’all so far? I had a pretty relaxing week myself but unfortunately I got hit with a migraine last night that’s still going strong. 
          
          Since I’m going to be in bed for a while, I thought I’d pull out No One Special and take a crack at editing it again. I’m just about halfway done though!! I can’t wait until I’ll be able to release it to all of you :) 

It is done. I have deleted No One Special, as well as the sequel Someone Special. It is with a heavy heart that I do this, but don't worry! I'm just ready to stop writing fanfiction, and ready to start publishing works that are fully my own. 
          
          Aina's journey will return in 2020, and until then enjoy the holidays!

My final word count for NaNoWriMo was ~27k words but man did it teach me some stuff. It taught me that I have zero self discipline when it comes to writing and I have no idea where I’m going with any of my books. 

It’s Day 6 of NaNoWriMo and it is kicking my butt!! I’m at almost 10k into a project and I’m loving everything I’m putting in!! 
          
          I’ll be posting updates here and there but since I’m focusing all my attention on this passion project of mine, I won’t be able to post anything new for Someone Special or any of my other works!

          I know I promised a new chapter on Tuesday, but I got a little too caught up trying to plan for NaNo/ getting as much schoolwork out of the way as possible. However, the new chapter has now been posted!

          I've got something big happening guys.
          
          I'm going to be doing NaNoWriMo! NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, where basically writers aim to write 50,000 words (an entire novel) in the month of November! It's an incredible challenge and I'm excited and anxious to take part in it. 
          
          The purpose of NaNoWriMo isn't to write a good book in a month. That's impossible. The point is to motivate writers to word vomit and worry about making sense later. 
          
          My plan is to make the Special series be able to stand on its own two feet. While I love writing within the Percy Jackson Universe, I feel that Aina and all the other characters have grown beyond the confines of the world of Rick Riordan. 
          
          Don't worry about Someone Special though! I intend to keep my promise and continue to update it every Tuesday this month, possibly more because I won't have a lot of time during November. It's likely that Someone Special will be put on hold.

          I know it's a little late for some of you, but the new chapter is up as I promised!
          
          The results from the Watty's came out today. As some of you know, I entered No One Special in the category of Fanfiction. While I am sad that it did not win any awards, I am happy that Wattpad gave great writers the chance to be seen. I will still continue to write my stories, even with some slightly wounded pride.
