Anyone know how to add your own stories to reading lists? I used to be able to do it, but I think Wattpad updated. Ugh, it’s so I can update my page public reading lists but I can’t do that without it being in my person library (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Big Bang event website! I tried, but it shows " Only use lower key letters, numbers and dash please." Even I used 2 numbers , space and small letters.... I don't know well, if you say! I can write another thing! I write all night sometimes so it doesn't matter.... but really! My that story isn't that bad! I swear! And thanks

Yes! I have all my questions cleared but you said summary! Like announcement! Like you do sometimes! Plus, that event people will add me in that server in 24 hours? And you said about that summary I have to do before early February! Say some things about that! Are you mean my story as a summary! I have at least 20 story as draft stories so I can use them and one chapter with 5k+ plus words right! It's okay! I have a story of 7891 words! But the problem is will they accept my brother love fiction?

@Love_You_Killua I don’t know how quickly they’ll add you. I haven’t been added yet, but it’ll def be within next week. As for the summary, it’s just a story summary like I put under each one of my fics. I’d say a good example is my In the Hands of Fate summary. It’s quite descriptive and is under 500 words (which is max) Brother love? Hmmmmm… I guess it depends whether it’s sexually intimate or like the family type of love. Overall, since this is a collaborative event, it’s better to not be too morally questionable like incest. Rewrites of stories are also fine. I did that for Secret of the Scarlet Shadow which was formally Shadows of the Truth. You can use any draft as long as the story isn’t posted in any way!

What is the Big Bang? It’s a large event where the whole fandom gets together regardless of ship! However, for the HxH big bang, NO NSFW is allowed.
During this event, writers will create a story 5k or over (the story must not have been posted yet) and will post a summary of such story for artists to choose from. Going forward, the artists will read and create a piece specially for your fic! Signing up as a beta reader is also an option.
I’ll be joining, as always, and post a one-shot as a writer as well as being a pitch-artist and a beta reader.

@Love_You_Killua 1) discord IS required so make sure you have it 2) a one-shot is basically a one chapter story instead of a multi-chapter fic. You can take my fic Fashionx Disaster as an example 3) if you’re continuing a story atm, you can’t use that story for the event if it’s already posted, but if you want to join, I’d suggest doing a one-shot to do minimal work but still have the full experience 4) it goes by ao3 ratings. General Audiences is PG, teen and up audiences is PG-13 <- just like PG13 movies as an example, the HIGHEST rating you can go is Mature. You can do a lot with mature ratings (take my mystery fic’s latest chapter for example) you can have descriptive violence and intimacy, however, mature rating is NOT porn. You cannot add stuff like vulgar words like dck, finishing, you know… all that jazz- be careful and just mostly imply it— you don’t want to be reported. 5) since you’re signing up as a writer, you’ll be added to the discord server like everyone else (much more info is there + schedule) and you’ll be required to write a story 5k+ words. This story cannot be a story that was already posted in any sense— as that would expose the surprise of the reveal. You will make a summary by the end of February of what you’re going to do, and an artist will go through every summary from people and chose what fic they want to draw for. However, this is completely anonymous! They won’t know who wrote it and you won’t know who drew your piece until the reveal date. The reveal date is in July, so you have quite a bit of time. Hope that answers all of your questions!

@That_gReat_Snail hey! Answer my question! You attended this event for long as far as I know! So you perfectly know the details. What type things I can and I can't add in my one shot? First of all is one shot short wattpad stories? How many chapters, a one shot should contain? Plus, I signed up as writer and mature so can I add sumt? If not smut, can I add kisses?

@Love_You_Killua once I enter a reading spree again, I’ll totally do so. It’s time I come back to Wattpad and read a few stories on here after reading so much on ao3. I’ll be sure to give lots of comments when I do! Because I’m an artist as well as a writer (as well as a streamer and full time worker and college student) AS WELL AS BEING BIPOLAR AND ASLEEP MOST KF THE DAY, I can’t guarantee how fast I’ll get to it. I’m so busy I’m also currently working on the writing guide you asked for. It’ll be pretty detailed on tips and I hope people will benefit from it :3

I’m deciding to finish up “In the Hands of Fate” next, since I literally have only 3 chapters left. All my stories are different from each other in a minor sense, and I’ll have to switch back to the whole “over-descriptive” writing style like used in that fic ahahaha. Anyways, I was lucky enough to get a couple of friends to help me by beta reading it, so I’m hoping to get the next chapter out within the week.
(Also when it comes to life, thankfully some stuff got resolved, but to be honest, I’d rather not get into it— sorry.)
I’m doing a lot of art now too if you guys want to check out my instagram, which is the same tag as my Wattpad name! I’m having fun doing collaborations as an artist woot woot! I’m also thinking of posting a small writing guide that gets me through writing blocks, because I am getting a lot of questions on tips and such.
