Allie, you’re my best friend and the best one out there, you matter so much and I could never live life without you! You care for me so deeply and always make sure that I’m ok no matter what. This amazing girl helped me through some dark times and stopped me from doing many bad things, so I need you guys, the readers, to help me explain how much she matters and is the best thing that’s ever happened to me, so let me start it off!!

We met through screens and typed-out words,
          little messages sent into the dark,
          never expecting strangers
          to become the people who know my heart.
          
          No shared blood,
          no family photos on the wall,
          just late-night conversations
          and the promise that someone would answer when I called.
          
          We built a home from comment sections,
          inside jokes, and endless threads,
          stitched together by "Are you okay?"
          and "Don't forget to go to bed."
          
          The world says family is found at birth,
          written in names and history,
          but somehow mine arrived in notifications,
          one message at a time.
          
          You became my siblings,
          my cousins, my chaos and my comfort,
          the people who celebrate my victories
          and sit beside me through my storms.
          
          Sometimes I wonder if you know
          what you've given me.
          How a bad day feels lighter
          because I know you'll be there.
          How loneliness loses its sharp edges
          when your names appear on my screen.
          
          We're separated by miles,
          by countries, by oceans,
          but somehow you're closer
          than people standing in the same room.
          
          Maybe one day we'll drift apart.
          Maybe life will pull us in different directions.
          But there will always be a version of me
          that carries all of you.
          
          The girl who laughed until she cried
          because of something ridiculous in a Wattpad chat.
          The girl who found a family
          where she never expected one.
          
          And if anyone asks where my home is,
          I won't point to a place.
          I'll think of usernames,
          inside jokes,
          and the people who chose me.
          
          Because family isn't always who you're born with.
          
          Sometimes it's the friends
          who found you online
          and stayed.
