Damn been a whole ass year since my last post lmao

          I'm not sure if you'll see this message since the last time u posted on your message board like was exactly 9 months before and maybe your not even on Wattpad anymore but even so I just wanted to let u know that no matter how many negative comments u got on your story "Class Assignment" I  must say that I really liked the story. And no I am not saying this out of pity. I'm just giving my honest opinion. 
          At first when I saw that the last time u posted chapter 6 was in 2020 I wanted to know if the story was discontinued or something so I came to ur message board. But after seeing that u were pissed off abt receiving negative and nasty comments on ur story and said that u might move to Ao3 or FFN and post there. So I was wondering if u moved there or not. Cuz I really liked the story and was hoping to read more of it. 
          Once again, whatever I said above is just my honest opinion and I did not say it out of pity or something. I hope you'll see this message of mine and reply. ^_^

Well, I have an update of sorts. So my last little convo was pretty negative. I was in a pretty shitty headspace after getting another rude comment on Class Assignment. Now, in the last couple of months, I've been getting some comments on Class Assignment that quite frankly pissed me off due to the attitude of the commenter, what they were complaining about being either incorrect or something in the anime, or both.  I don't really mind criticism, but I'd prefer it if people could be kind when telling me about something that doesn't quite work. After all, it's just a fanfic of all things. There's really no reason to get super upset and take a tone with me or treat me like I'm an idiot for one thing not working. Not all of these nasty comments have come from Wattpad, but the majorty of them have. Looking over the comments on my stories, Wattpad's is the one that's least encouraging to me since most of the comments are just people replying to the story, making joke comments, or getting pissy over a plot development they didn't like. I don't find any of those particularly encouraging. After the most recent one, I had just had enough of it and needed to vent. I will be honest, for a minute there, I was genuinely considering leaving Wattpad. If all I'm going to get for my hard work is nitpicks and jerks acting like I don't know shit about the animes I'm writing fanfiction for, then I didn't really want to post. After a few days, I'm feeling better but currently still on the fence on how long I might be here. if the annoying comments persist, especially once I post my OC stories, I may pack up and just post to FFN and AO3.

I really don't mean to be disheartening or anything, but lately, I feel like most comments I get on Class Assignment are nitpicky or just someone being upset that it didn't go the direction they want or in the first chapter's case, people overreacting to Mineta's existence (Ik there’s not a whole lot of them, but it’s still kind of annoying to see the same damn joke comment that’s already been made several times). I mean, don't get me wrong, there are some nice comments, too, and I really appreciate them, but I still feel discouraged to post here bc of how often the comments I get either being just annoying jokes or someone who can’t just ask me a question/voice their opinion in a respectful way. Lately, the comments I get for it are usually someone upset with the story for whatever reason. I'm fine with criticism, but when the issue you have with my story is simply subjective, not objective, then I'd prefer if you keep it to yourself or state your opinion respectfully. Really, there aren’t a shit ton of comments of the story, and I’m aware of that but even those handful just bring me down some, especially since there’s so many more of them in comparison to actual positive comments or comments being respectful. I know this just sounds like a bunch of whining, and really, it is, but damn, I don't think people realize how discouraging it can be to see comments like those. Honestly, it's made me want to not post to Wattpad periodt bc my experience with most people on here hasn't exactly been great. FFN and AO3 have their flaws, too, but at least I don't hate to see a comment notif from either of them like I do Wattpad. Now I just expect the comment to be someone nitpicking, being rude, or making a joke I’ve already seen made several times in the comments.

Another update: So I'll be very busy these next few weeks with many important exams and school stuff. I likely won't have time to write at all, and so I don't think anything will be updated. Thankfully, a long break is right after, so I just have to survive these few weeks.

Okay so the covers of Tipsy Kiss and Heroes and Exorcists have been changed. When I originally posted here, I had no idea what I was doing in terms of covers, so I would just take some artwork relating to the story and use it as the cover without knowing who the artist was. I've changed them now because as time's gone on, I've learned how disrespectful doing that is to the original artists who made the art and that I should get an artist's permission before using their art in a cover of my story.  It's something that happens far too often here on Wattpad: Someone just swipes some art off of Google real quick and slaps it into the cover of their story or at the top of a chapter, and I wish people would seek out the artists of these pieces first to ask permission (also so they can properly credit those artists) or just use something from the anime instead. I've swapped to doing this, and while it can be tricky, I can make things that work without stealing art.
