What do you think about the latest volume of cote cuz to me it was so trash that i had to re-read cote checkmate in order to heal myself

@abcfghtl The same goes for Arisu. No, it's even worse for her, especially based on what happened in Volume 12. Who knows, maybe Kinugasa might be cooking something for us in Year 3 because what happened with Honami is already a huge turning point. And I'm even gonna include Maya because if Kiyo was all in on the peaceful and normal life route, then she's definitely the perfect choice. Anyway, for all the other girls not mentioned, they just all lack the strong and natural dynamic with Kiyotaka, which is for the best because, let's be honest, I'm a simp for the guy, but he is a clear red flag. Though with Suzune, maybe just maybe it will work, but I won't hope for it too much either, I'll place it on just 60-40 60 on it working out. That ended up being too long damn I have no life good luck on reading lmao.

@abcfghtl alright this will be a bit long lol anw out of all the girls who are close to Kiyotaka, believe it or not, the most natural dynamic/relationship he has with any of them is with Suzune. Even if we don't count their banters and shenanigans in Y1 V1-3, the whole dynamic of their relationship is still the most natural and unforced for me. Though I doubt that they will be romantically involved with one another during school after their third year, then maybe. Anw Kiyo probably views her like his daughter, who is growing up really well, hence his elation and expectations increasing every volume. Yeah, I know it's wild from possible romance to being daughter zoned, but yeah, that's the way I see it. He sees and treats her like his obra maestra, his gem being polished. Plus, there's two vital things that make Suzune different from all the other girls: 1) Kiyo invested so much time and effort on her, and I think he did the right thing; 2) She has common sense and that's very important lol. At one point, she even distrusted him. She's also not clingy, obsessed, or extremely dependent on Kiyotaka, unlike Kei or Ichinose. To be fair to the two, Kiyo deliberately set them in that direction, but then again, it was still their choice in the end, and I'm not really blaming them either. Kei, in actuality, should have just been a best friend/partner in crime to Kiyo. Their romance was doomed to fail because it started off twisted and toxic. They had good moments, yes, but in the long run, it just won't work. The same goes for Ichinose, more like it's even worse for her for many reasons. She's from another class, so that's already a huge disadvantage. I think Kiyo said this himself that if he was in Class B from the start, then Ichinose's a good choice despite their differences. In the case of Hiyori, her dynamic with Kiyo is also really natural, but sadly, she's also from another class.
