Ora vi metto questo commento (se volete copietelo e traducetelo per me è troppo lungo per il poco tempo che ho per scrivere):
Everyone is talking about Zhongli... but Childe's expression as his friend broke down was the thing that hit me. Like he wanted to cry as well in sympathy but could not. He could just... not.
It's Childe we're talking about, the only one in the game whose eyes do not have a light in them. Dry eyes denote tiredness, stress, sometimes apathy. Childe, who once he fell into the abyss, had his heart hardened and his childhood innocence ended right there and then. Just like Zhongli, who was forced to kill his once called friends one after another, Childe too has been fighting his personal war, and feels unable to rest until all will be over.
In the comic it almost feels like Childe would want to cry as well, but he can't. He can't show weakness, no warrior can do that. Zhongli himself never did (as says the lore of the basalt mask artifact in game).
Snezhnaya does not believe in tears, and neither does Childe.
The only difference between them, is that for Zhongli it's too late, he can cry to only mourn, but he's willing to become a new self. Childe instead is spiraling towards a bloody path, he can only keep his bold face for so long until that too will freeze on him.
Hopefully Zhongli will make him realize in time crying is never for the weak, and maybe Childe will cry for his first time since the Abyss, the light in his eyes returning as he finally unloads his own burden.
I really hope that happens.
