@CassandraLowery Yeah, hahaha. I was listening to The Tokens and other similar singers yesterday. 

I know *exactly* what you mean. Right now on Pandora I'm listening to "The Return of the Red Baron" by the Royal Guardsmen...yep, a song about Snoopy and the Red Baron. Can't get more innocent than that, right? :P

@CassandraLowery That's cool:) I listen to that type of music because I love the harmonies and what they sing about. Like the Beatles sang about wanting to hold your hand. Today's music sings about getting drunk. Music from the '50s type stuff is simpler too:)

I do, too. I love music from the 40's, 50's and early 60's. I grew up on Elvis, The Drifters, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, etc. My mom went to high school from 1958-1962, so those years figured heavily in the music we listened to around the house...just as my kids are stuck in the mid-80's with me. :D 

@CassandraLowery Hahahha, I can tell you're a dedicated fan!!:) I listened to a few song and they seem pretty good. I like music from the '50s better though like Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons:)

What?? You've never heard of U2? They're Irish--Dublin born & bred and started the band in 1979 and are still performing and making albums. Some of their new stuff in the 2000's rivals their top-of-the-game work from the mid-80's. Rolling Stone Magazine wrote that the top three bands of the entire 20th century were: 1) The Beatles, 2) The Rolling Stones, and 3) U2. They're amazing. :) 

@CassandraLowery Thats cool, I'm listening to U2 now because (don't be mad:) I've never heard of them before. They are actually pretty good. The Beatles will always be number one to me though:)
