Hamilton isn’t just a movie or musical. It’s not just a ‘weird theater kid thing’. Hamilton is an anthem for every person like me whose biggest fear is dying without the world remembering your name. I don’t want to become just another name on a another grave stone in some town. Hamilton is not solely for your entertainment. It’s not just “work work Angelica, work work Eliza, and Peggy work” or “Are you Aaron Burr, sir?” Hamilton is the the song right before Burr shoots him. Hamilton is in the eye of the hurricane. Hamilton is ending song, seeing most the cast in white. Hamilton is Eliza powering through everything she’s put through. Hamilton is not just a couple songs with some background dancers and a bit of acting. Hamilton is an iconic work of art that a book wouldn’t do justice. It was made a musical so you could FEEL the story of the Founding Father we forgot.
Hamilton is humanity’s creativity at it’s highest point, of which you cannot beat.
