( the canine is small. really small. he's fluffy, brown, looking maybe a few weeks old at most. it's at her feet out of nowhere, sniffing curiously, sort of just inviting himself over. )

( he appreciates it, because he can understand what she's saying to him decently. he even tried to respond, to thank her, barking before snatching the jerky slice and chomping on it hungrily. )

@ilokind That’s not going to stop her from talking to him. She digs around in her pocket for a moment before finding a piece of jerky and holding it out for him. “Here you are, my boy. Little snack for us, huh?”
