@TheBlind_LightEnd Well mine is pretty basic. I've read tips about how most fights are actually over fast and only last a few seconds (movies and Tv make them seem longer than they actually are) so if you're writing in first person, try focusing on quick attacks but emphasizing small details to make it seem longer.
Like if Character A punches Character B, B is gonna feel the pain, the heat from the affected area, and several other things and emotions from there. But if B just barely dodges, they would feel the air push against their face from the force of the punch and have to quickly-- and possibly-- sloppily dodge the next punch and scramble back quickly to avoid the next couple punches coming from character A. Just as an example.
