Posted Chapter 23: Student of the Flames! Here's a short excerpt of it:
          
          “Your flames are powered by intense emotions. Of hatred or love. I believe darkness lurks within you. You must learn to control your emotions. Otherwise, that incident in the plains will arise once again. And it might not be possible to stop the storms.”
          	Carter froze, staring wide-eyed at the old man. His breathing grew uneven, as he instinctively nodded, and turned around once again. His eyes darted around the valley. The colours didn’t seem as vivid as they once did. Almost gray. 
          	I don’t want to be consumed by that hatred, he thought.
          	Oh, but you shall. It is your destiny, the voice whispered.
          He took a deep breath, and took a step towards the trail. Leaving the haven farewell. He didn’t think he’d find another one like it. 
          	He began to quicken his pace. Willing the voices and whispers to fade, he ventured onwards. To home.

Chapter 14: The Last Encounter, is now published! This part has some significant topics, as it moves towards a new subplot of the story that is foreshadowed by the beginning of the story.

          Apologies, I haven't been active for a while, I had some things going on in the background. Good news though, my plot is almost completely solidified, and I'm trying to write as much as possible! I hope you guys enjoy this new chapter I crafted, and continue reading!

          Tbh once I started posting to this site, I've become more motivated to work more intensely on this little novel project of mine. It was because of all of you, even you ghost readers (I see yall lmao). So thank you also, for that.

Changed the cover to my novel yet again! Nobody told me designing covers would be this addictive lol

Released Chapter 10: Tending the Flames! Definitely on a roll lol, just trying to get this stuff out there before the next wave of stressful university stuff shows up.
