bg3 has taught me that I am not above recycling my old characters for the bit

Coming back to this profile after over a year of inactivity, and just now realizing how much it sucks that the few people you've made friends with on this site have pretty much moved on. feels bad :(

Also good GOD past me posted way too much

@AurorasPalace fortunately certain bits of him live on in a couple of my dnd characters so I guess he hasn’t been completely abandoned (his name was taken by a genuinely horrendous sorcerer and his alcohol brain went to a magic robot cowboy)

also I am glad we are still friends :)) I do try to check this account every now and then but my brain like,, doesn’t think half the time, so I would recommend discord if you need to get a hold of me about anything you wanna talk about (also sorry if this is slightly incoherent it’s like 4 am as I’m typing this and I amv ery sleepy and/or tired)

            guh.

@TheCorfish Aww nooo, Leonard :( Pretty much the same thing has happened with Khoie, although recently I've been having the urge to roleplay as her more.

But yeah again, I'm glad you're still alive and kicking my guy! Even if we don't talk as much anymore, you're still my friend, and I'm happy to see that you're still doing all right :) And of course, feel free to message me on Discord or Wattpad if you want to talk about anything! Whether it be life or our characters doesn't matter.

@AurorasPalace hey so coincidentally I had the random urge to check this tonight so it actually works out. also it is very good to see you as well :))

also (again) i completely understand the old roleplay stuff. genuinely glad some of my older ones will never see the light of day (except for maybe like, the first rp I did with sad little alcohol man) (who has since been banished to forgotten character hell)

Now that I’ve actually started writing something, I’m finding it very hard to resist the urge to make every single character speak like they’re a generic old-timey Englishman for some reason-

“I say, stay back you rapscallion!” The pilot yelled, emptying his pistol in the heathen’s direction.
          ——
“Balderdash, those traitorous fiends wouldn’t dare show their cowardly faces around this village.” The ex-swordsman growled.
          ——
“Good heavens!” McCard shouted, hitting the wall with a heavy-sounding ‘thunk’

          hehe writing is fun
