@DukePartial Hi there, we don't actually read stories here, but would be glad to give you a few pointers on getting discovered. Posting in stories of other people is actually against the code of conduct when you signed up, so it's best to stay away from that method. If you're on a computer and using the site though, under Community, you can find the clubs. Once there, you can join the club or clubs that your stories fit into. You can use the Share Your Story thread for the genre it's tagged in. And you can also join other discussions and get to know people. Once you get to know and friend people, the will most likely come and check out your story. Another way is to read stories similar to yours. If you read those stories and leave thoughtful comments, you may find that some writers will reciprocate. You can also engage other commenters. You'll find that a lot of the same people read the same stories because you read by genre typically. If you leave engaging and interesting comments, and interact with other commenters, you may find that those commenters will come check out your stories as well. Hopefully this helps!!

@icewritergal We have weekly live episodes that talk about writing and online writing success. After every ten of those episodes, we will have a contest. Nominates for the third contest just closed, but will open up again after episode 40 airs. Someone else must nominate your story for you, and then there will be two rounds of judging. The first round will give us four finalists, all of whom get a little interview in the contest book, and then will be passed on to our guest judge. The grand prize winner will get an interview in the book, as well as some swag.
