So....it's been a while.
Yep, I'm back...sort of. For a creative writing class that I'm taking, I wrote this short story and figured that I might as well post it here for fun and to maybe get a little feedback from whoever is even still here, since most of the big guys in the SMG4 fanfic "community" have probably moved on at this point. I stopped caring about SMG4 about three years ago, and this short story is my own, completely original work. I'm personally pretty proud of it.
Again, the reason why everything was wiped is because a) it sucked, all of it, and b) I wanted to start creating my own characters and worlds that were uniquely my own, instead of writing stupid romances for someone else's characters.
Idk, from what I can tell, @InfernoNarratives and @Mario_X_Meggy are still kicking around, at least to some extent. @0breadlord0 is making just about the only SMG4 fanfic that I'm actually still following (Seriously, The Agency is actually pretty damn good), but most everyone else has just kinda quit. Seems like SMG34 has gained a bunch of traction too, which I'm not in any way opposed to. It's cool to see same sex relationships like that getting a real foothold in a community like this.
If I write some other offhand crap, I'll probably post it here, but don't expect to see any of my old SMG4 stories pop back up, and DEFINITELY don't expect any new ones. It's just never gonna happen. Sorry.
Believe it or not, I was planning a full on revival and rewrite of my series back in 2021, which would've included yet another remaster of Tragedy on Interstate 40, but I literally couldn't write the word 'Mario' without dying of cringe. I had the whole thing planned out too. Ten books, one story, over a year of writing that never came to be. If anyone cares enough, I could probably give a rough plot summary of what that would've looked like, since I practically remember everything. Just for fun.
Anyways, that's all. Don't expect anything like this often though.

You’re completely right. Our little “community” has slowed drastically when it comes to writing new content. The actual channel itself hasn’t been the greatest motivator in our stories either. Myself and @Mario_X_Meggy are still kicking in working on one last large-scale story, then we both might be done after that. I may stick around for smaller content releases and maybe some more original ideas. I’d be more than happy to stay up to date on your newest release. I think it’s about time I take a look at more original content.
