Fanatic

Thank you to everyone for your support! I am BACK and the new chapter of Caffeine Rush is out! It is finals week at my university, so I’m about as done as I’m gonna be this semester. I will continue to work on my projects through the break (and hopefully finish at least one) before the next semester starts ups.

Let me preface by saying that I hate having to do this and I have been in the position of the reader coming across author's notes that say something has come up and they're going on hiatus for personal reasons. Blah blah blah. And never post again. I hate that with a burning passion.
          
          This is NOT that, I promise you!⚡️
          
          This is a scheduled break in my usual update routine. There will be no updates for the next two weeks ONLY. After those two weeks, I'll resume updates as normal. But I need the time I would normally devote to my creative writing to finish my senior research paper and prep for presenting it at a mock-conference as a requirement for my degree. Believe me, this is not the only thing in my life that I'm sacrificing for my paper but it is what I feel most guilty about.
          
          I will not be that person that never posts again. I will be back with Chapter 43 of Caffeine Rush (which I've already started working on, despite myself) on December 2nd, 2024. Look forward to all the feels of a chaotic battlefield, the unknown consequences, potential allies in the fight to save the multiverse, and all the caffeine fueled shenanigans from Jesse and both sets of Avengers. Wish me luck with my project and presentation! I will be back in two weeks!

I’m so sorry everyone! My internet provider decided this week was gonna be a server maintenance week so I had absolutely no internet over the weekend and won’t until at least Wednesday. I thought I’d be able to get by without it but not being able to do school work or login to write online has made it very difficult to get things done. I’ll try to release the new chapter tonight but if that isn’t possible, for sure by tomorrow morning when I’m back on campus.

          This is an important announcement! I am changing my update day to Mondays! My coaching season has started and that means my Fridays and Saturdays are now fully occupied, I suppose my Mondays are too but I’m not writing on my update days, I’m proof reading and editing for the most part. Making things make sense is hard! Especially with a tournament the next day. The weekend gives me extra time to make it actually good. Thanks for understanding, dearest ones!

          Latest chapter of Caffeine Rush is up, some love for Hawkeye this time. Lots of assignments and exams around this time so keep that in mind for future updates.

As you may have noticed, I have gotten back into the swing of editing my old work such as The Silencer and you may have gotten some notifications. Ignore them for the most part, they are mostly superficial so far. The only published work that has super revisionary edits is Son of the Devil, and I wont be touching that until after Caffeine Rush is complete and I’ve gone back through to fix it up, my goal is to have all that done by December. Yes, that absolutely means that I can see the end coming, we are several weeks of updates off from that but the plan is certifiably in place, let the anticipation build!

Here’s something random. I was feeling really very productive today, went to class until 5:30, did a bunch of writing, got ahead in my assignments, went to the library to pick up the books I had on hold while only grabbing ONE impromptu book (rare occurrence, libraries are dangerous for my free time). I was feeling pretty good about myself and then a quarter sized mosquito landed on my hand right between my thumb and pointer finger and it took all of five minutes to get red, extra itchy, and swollen to the size of a golf ball. Being mildly allergic to mosquito saliva is the most inconvenient development of my life by far. Anyway, I made lots of progress on Caffeine Rush today and felt like bragging. The next chapter will be released tomorrow as usual.
