Ok so. Dream SMP Au book planned. 16 chapters approx. Not gonna be big or with extremely long chapters, but hopefully it will be ok. Do I post the first chapter now, or do I post the whole thing when I finish?
          
          Pros of posting now:
          Pressure from y'all and reminders to work
          More chance of it growing in popularity as it updates 
          Cons of posting now: 
          I may not finish and have to leave it due to burnout (I would post the au and what was going to happen if it hadnt been discontinues) 
          
          Pros of posting when finished:
           - it'll be finished so no chance of leaving it on a cliffhanged
          Cons of posting it when finished: 
          - Less time to grow in popularity from cliffhangers and wattpads algorithm
          - I may never finish it because I dont have anyone pushing me / maybe get burnout.
          
          Thoughts?

Heya, just giving my info since I think I could help, but take it with a grain of salt:
            
            What I do is write all before hand and post once a week (but that is my preference to help me make sure I don’t stray off in the story writing & have the cliffhangers actually have some impact to current readers) but if you are worried about motivation & burnout, have 1-3 chapters planned ahead and already written so that you give urself time to rest and then continue on.
            
            Lol idk if this is any help but make sure to have fun and enjoy writing the book!

@Milliemoo92 I might just take you up on that! I have been looking for someone to co-lab with, as all my in real life friends are not super into writing and reading. Perhaps it's just another perspective I wish for, but I would be glad to go into partnership with you.
