Things got delayed a bit due to irl difficulties and the vast number of stories we've had to read through, but we are working on building the entrant reading lists and finalizing the short list. (we have 18 of 36 decided on, just settling on the other half!)
We thank you for your patience, and will present the Aspiring Author Awards Short List before the end of the week!

Hello Entrants! Today marks ONE WEEK until submissions close and judging begins! While we're totally overjoyed with the number of submissions we've received so far, there are still have a ton of open slots!
As such, we're changing the rules a bit. The chapter minimum has been dropped from five to THREE! So tell your friends, spread the word, and if the five chapter minimum was what's been holding you back, now's your chance to join!

Hello Aspiring Author Entrants! The Character Categories (with the exception of Antagonist) are looking pretty popular! As such, we would really love to see some more entries in the Line and Story categories (especially Premise, which only has one lonely competitor at the moment.)
If you know a story with a great and unique concept, send them our way!

Hello Aspiring Author Entrants! Do you have any writer friends or know of any wattpad books with stellar Antagonists or Character Quotes? Because those two categories are severely lacking entrants, and we know there's some amazing stuff hidden out there!
