i can't stop my readers from lowkey shipping iris with other characters like neville/fred/dean but i hope you guys can interpret their relationships in a different light. every sweet and supportive thing they've done for each other is purely platonic and wasn't meant to have any romantic undertones to them. i rarely see intimate scenes between characters of the opposite sex in fics or other books i've read and wanted to incorporate moments like that into my story.

my book consists of bland paragraphs and crappy 13-year-old grammar yet my readers care much more about my lack of british slang and feel awfully inclined to comment on it. i'm so confused.

Rewrote the first chapter, revised the second, will be working on the third and fourth tomorrow. Haven't published any changes yet. 
          
          I'm probably gonna mess up all the inline comments, but oh well. 
          
          Not sure how long it's going to take to rewrite it all. It took me two years to finish the first draft. Hopefully I can finish touching it up in a few months. 

I THINK I'M GOING TO REWRITE ALL OF AUO.
           
          SAME PLOT, SAME CHARACTERS, BUT THIS TIME IT WON'T BE AWFUL BECAUSE 12-YEAR-OLD ME WON'T BE WRITING IT.
