Plus he could get train and reforge crocea mors to get own his own crocea mors with a proper claymore function that is two thirds of his height. As to how he could come to be, your jaune having acknowleged he is a hero might do something goofy to summon himself in some manner joking and accidently summon canon jaune from the ever after.
If he gets the help he needs a ascends, he can always meet up with team rwby at the blacksmith's place since time works differently he doesnt have to wait just show up and boom they are there after going throught their own drama.
