TheGarageJump is a music collective project. It was the name of a dokey (a vault over land and water) which a number of kids attempted to leap.
The idea is that the songs and the music are the focus. TheGarageJump are seeking to build an appreciation rather than a following.
Positive influences include: Joy Division, Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Beatles, Emma Goldman, Neu, Irvine Welsh, John McGeoch, Mark Lane, Vince Clarke and plenty more.
There have been a selection of songs written and recorded (demos). Some may need the wall of sound treatment and some may not.
