i wouldn’t consider any books from the Valentine series as stand-alones. as much as we all love Nyx, you can’t just skip HFV2 and go straight into PWF. there will be plot holes and you will be confused lmao.
          
          also, if you don’t want to learn about/don’t support the history of Gwen and Nyx, there should be no reason you’re reading PWF. i see some of y’all torturing yourselves and mad in the comments when the reality is, that book may just not be for you.
          
          very important to read the disclosures at the beginning of every book!

          thank you so much to everyone on wattpad who has supported His First Valentine, Her Forever Valentine and Playing With Fire.
          
          writing these books and building a community of readers who have fallen in love with the characters and my story telling has been such a rewarding experience.
          
          moving forward, i will be focusing on posting my work on the inkitt platform through a subscription service. there are plenty of reasons for this, but i’ll give you three:
          
          • His First Valentine was recently stolen from wattpad and being sold on amazon/kindle without my permission. although i was able to get it taken down, it was a stressful experience that completely rubbed me the wrong way
          
          • i think the quality of my work and the high demand deserves more than free reads (thank you to everyone who has been saying from book 1 that they would willingly pay for chapters)
          
          • posting a book on two different platforms, with two different layouts and keeping up with two different posting schedules? it’s a lot of work
          
          i’ve grown and learned so much from wattpad and this isn’t to say that i’m done putting my work on this platform forever, but it’s no longer a priority.
