I love to write.  Which is funny because I used to hate writing in elementary school. I hated all the steps and stuff. All the writing and the editing and the drafts. Until the 8th grade when I got a english teacher who made me fall in love with writing. She made me see that writing doesn't have to be so structured it can be wild and untamed. She also helped me discover how good I am at writing. I realized writing is a way for me express myself or a theme in a creative and intriguing way. And deep down I knew that all long because at my lowest points in life I had my poems. The poems that kept me sane, the poems that bandaged my bloody wounds and nursed me back to help. The poems that were my truest friend. Now today I look back knowing that those dark times in my life unlocked a gift of writing in me. I hope I can unlock something in you with my writings. Everything has something that's begging to be unleash.
