I'm temporarily postponing updates for The Nightshade Curse due to writer's block and lack of motivation. I'm currently in mourning, and I've been struggling to focus on things because my brain tends to refuse to focus on anything when I'm processing grief.
          	I will probably continue to update The Works Of Lysander M Gravenstein because that's just a collection of short stories so it's a lot easier than writing chapters of the books I'm currently working on, so don't worry about that. I will also go back to updating The Nightshade Curse weekly once I can focus on things properly again.

I've decided that I'm gonna use my reading lists as a way to help my readers, since I use Wattpad for writing rather than for reading. Any books I write that are part of a series will be put into a reading list named after the series that they belong to, but I will only be doing this once the first book is finished and the second book is being written. After that, any books belonging to that series will be added to the reading list containing that series. So far, I've only done this with the Darkheart series, but hopefully it helps to keep them all together so that people can easily find the other books in the series :)

@Angelic_Maddness No problem :)
            My ADHD does the exact opposite, I have to have multiple projects going on at once so I can just bounce between them otherwise my brain throws a tantrum and takes away my motivation when it can't so what it wants when it wants (this goes for books, DIY projects, everything), so I'm always working on multiple books at once. I do try to limit myself with how many I'm working on at once though when it comes to books because trying to keep up with updates is difficult when you're working on too many at once, and the ones I wanna write at some point in the future I've been writing down in my notes so I don't end up with 50 books going on at once but can go and write them based on my notes once I'm done with a few of my current ones

I like that. I hope to have enough books to do this one day. I unfortunately feel the need to write one book with a trillion words. I blame my adhd overthinking. * squirrel * but thanks for the great ideas.

The Bladesville Mystery will now be updated every week until it is finished. I've finished writing the book, it'll only be 11 chapters long so it'll be shorter than the other novels I've written, but that's just because it had a lot less world building and a much smaller cast of characters so making it longer would've caused it to drag on. The final 4 chapters will release every Sunday at 6pm (time may be different if you don't live in Britain) and the final chapter will release on the 10th of March. I hope you enjoy it.

Currently trying to fix my laptop again because it keeps breaking. Every time I log onto my laptop, I have to spend half an hour trying to make it functional enough to be able to use wattpad (it still keeps running at 98% to 99% memory usage when nothing is open, so I always have to try and get it down to 90% so I can use wattpad) but I can't get it below 97% because it's being a pain and my usual methods of sorting it out aren't working. I've been trying to fix it for nearly an hour but haven't had any luck so far, so it may take a while to fix. I'm currently writing this on my phone, but I need my laptop to update The Nightshade Curse for reasons I mentioned a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can sort it out soon, it'll probably take a good few hours though with how it's going so far.

@TheGothicPrince
            Well, since I always use my iPad or something, it doesn’t happen that often.

@Soull3ss_vampir3 I ended up getting it down to 86%, but it took me until nearly 5am to do that because it kept blue screening on me, but I was able to get on it and write yesterday's chapter and next week's chapter

Same happens to mine.
            When I boot it up, it will not load Wattpad. So I gave up or use the browser or my iPad with keyboard to update.
            If I have time to do so that is…

Just a quick thing:

          I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew when it comes to The Nightshade Curse in terms of how often I update. I thought I'd be able to update it every Monday and Friday, but I've been struggling a lot with keeping up with it. I feel like my last 2 chapters really suffered in terms of quality because I've been forcing myself to write despite having writer's block, and I don't want my writing to suffer just because I'm too stubborn to swallow my pride and admit that I was too ambitious, especially when it comes to the Darkheart series.

          So for that reason, I'm dropping the Friday updates for The Nightshade Curse but will be keeping the Monday updates. That way, the book is still getting weekly updates but I'm not getting too stressed about it.

MettaSuki

I don’t understand that.
            Due to occasional training, I hardly have the time to update.
            I’d rather disappear for a few months and then publish a chapter. I am fully standing behind, instead of publishing one day every week, but the chapters and what they used to be.

Part two:

          That brings me to the third thing, which will be exciting for those of you who miss Lucinda (the protagonist of The Curse Of Darkheart) and who wanna know what happened to her between the first and second books in the series. Yes the main series will explain it roughly, but for those of you wanting a deeper explanation and wanting to see exactly what happened to her and get some more context on The Kriluxean Empire, I will at some point in the future be writing a series with Lucinda as the protagonist to show her perspective of what happened from her first death in the first book to her final death in the second book, which will end with her perspective of the final battle of The Secrets Of Krilux.

          Finally, once the Darkheart series is finished, the Kriluxean series is written and completed, the Azmiraxian series (if it becomes a series) is finished and The Works Of Lysander M Gravenstein is completed, I will be writing a big book of every single story in the Darkheart series just so it's all in one place and easy to access. This will probably happen many years from now, but it'll be fun to see just how long the series as a whole is. Plus, it'll stop people from reading the main series in the wrong order.

Good news: I was able to write the next chapter of The Nightshade Curse, so that's scheduled to release as normal! Also, I have a few exciting announcements for fans of the Darkheart series but I will have to post it in 2 parts due to wattpad's character limit for announcements.

          Part one:

          Firstly, Raziel's favourite book will be introduced in the next chapter of The Nightshade Curse and you will actually get to read it if you want. That's right, I will be releasing a book identical to the one Raziel is reading. It will be called The Works Of Lysander M Gravenstein, and it'll be a collection of short stories that in universe were written by a character who will be introduced to the Darkheart series soon but in reality were written by me (of course). That'll be out tomorrow at 3am and will have weekly updates every Saturday at 3am, there's that to look forward to.

          Secondly, one of the books I've been writing separate from the main series is actually part of the same universe. Fun, right? It's not set in the kingdom of Darkheart, but it's set in the neighbouring kingdom of Azmirax, and one of the characters that will appear later in the book (Thunder, the eldest son of the Azmiraxian god Antanaru) is actually the first cousin of Lucien (the king of Darkheart and the main protagonist of the Darkheart series books from book 2 onwards). This book is called The Cult Of Antanaru, I've been writing it for quite some time and occasionally updating it, and it's not crucial to the main series, but it is part of the same universe and there will be a nod to it at some point in the main series. The Cult Of Antanaru takes place after The Nightshade Curse and will be in those little gaps between main series books that Lucien's diary covers, and I may even make The Cult Of Antanaru it's own series but I'm not 100% sure about that yet.

Another quick update (sorry, I forgot to mention this in my last update):

          The reason the last 3 chapters were able to come out like clockwork and hit the deadlines despite me being ill is because I had prewritten then at the time of writing chapter 2. I wrote 4 chapters in bulk and set them to release automatically on a schedule, so they kinda gave me something to fall back on.

          I think I may have picked too tight of an update schedule, what with having them set to release twice a week, but I found the new feature and I got overly ambitious and probably set myself up to fail. I will try to stick to it, but I may eventually have to slow it down to one chapter a week, especially if I start doing that with other books too.

          Also, for the fans of the Darkheart series (The Curse Of Darkheart, The Secrets Of Krilux, The Nightshade Curse, and any books in the series that follow after), I do have a few fun things to announce in regards to the series, but I'll announce that at a later date.

          With all that being said, I hope you all have a wonderful day, and stay safe!

Hey guys, just a quick thing:

          I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able to meet this Friday's update deadline for The Nightshade Curse.

          No, I have not decided to give up on my update schedule. I'm very ill and have been for the past week, light has been hurting me to the point where apps that don't have dark mode have been killing my eyes, I was throwing up a lot up until 2 or 3 days ago, I've barely been able to move and I've barely been able to eat or drink, so I haven't been able to use my laptop to write anything.

          The illness is on it's way out though finally so I'm hoping I'll be better enough by Friday to keep up with my update schedule for The Nightshade Curse. I'll probably still be ill, but hopefully I'll be able to write something, but then again my brain is very foggy and I can barely even stay conscious.

          I'm keeping my fingers crossed
