Hi, I saw your post about writing emotional scenes and thought I'd come say hi. I'm currently writing the hardest story I've ever written because it involves various types of abuse (including rape). It's taken me 2 years to get 10 chapters, because I refuse to write cliche or cheesy and unbelievable plot elements. I want it to feel "real", you know? If ever you wanna talk more about how to write these emotional 'reveal' moments, lemme know! I too have an unresponsive/distant gf character. I wanted to show that though she's a nice person, she has no idea how to handle the situation, and ends up alienating the one person who needs her support (the victim of the abuse).

Wow, I really respect you for going for a not perfect and unhappy ending with the gf, That takes guts and skill so bravo! But I will most defiantly keep that in mind because I am pretty good at putting myself in my MCs shoe's (I'm really empathetic and an actor so I am used to slipping into roles). Do you have a big reveal scene or is it something that is just kinda known from the start?

Herro! So I think I've decided to go with the second option. I really don't feel like I understand enough of the story for it to be valuable to ask a question. It's just to early in the story. Anyway, thanks so much! I really like this idea and I think I might just copy it :)
