PERCY JACKSON AND THE CHALICE OF THE GODS will hit shelves on September 26, 2022

The original heroes from The Lightning Thief are reunited for their biggest challenge yet: getting Percy into college.

After saving the world multiple times, Percy Jackson is hoping to have a normal senior year of high school. Unfortunately, the gods aren’t quite done with him. Percy will have to fulfill a new quest in order to get the necessary letter of recommendation from Mount Olympus for his application to New Rome University.

The mission? Help Ganymede, Zeus’s cup-bearer, retrieve his lost goblet before it falls into the wrong hands. You see, one sip from it can turn a mortal into a god, and Zeus would not be pleased with that result. Can Percy, Grover, and Annabeth find the precious cup in time? And if they do, will they be able to resist its special power?

Readers new to Percy Jackson and fans who have been awaiting this reunion for more than a decade will delight equally in this latest hilarious take on Greek mythology.

THE SUN AND THE STAR, by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro, will likely release on May 2, 2023,
"Nico, the son of Hades, and his boyfriend Will, the son of Apollo, travel to Tartarus, the deepest, darkest part of the Underworld as they attempt to rescue an old friend."

ELLIE ENGLE SAVES HERSELF comes out on May 2, 2023. A cover will be released tomorrow. 2023's Rick Riordan Presents slate is looking to be pretty packed, with WINSTON CHU VERSUS THE WHIMSIES coming on February 7, ELLIE ENGLE SAVES HERSELF on May 2, THE LAST FALLEN REALM on June 6, FURY OF THE DRAGON GODDESS in Summer, PAHUA AND THE DRAGON'S SECRET IN FALL, MOKO MAGIC sometime that year, and OUTLAW SAINTS 2, SERWA BOATENG 2, and THE LORDS OF NIGHT 2 also probably coming in May, September, and October, respectively. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of those gets pushed back into 2024. I also wouldn't be surprised if they add one more book to the slate. The more I think about it, though, it'd be pretty hard to release OUTLAW SAINTS 2 within a month of two other books. They could: 1) do it, 2) delay it into July/August, 3) push it back into May 2024. There is also no evidence that SERWA BOATENG 2 will come out a year after book one, but I'm almost certain that they will release THE LORDS OF NIGHT 2 next October.

Expect Rick Riordan's SOLANGELO book to have details announced next, probably within the next month

TWO BITS OF NEWS:
First off, Graci Kim's THE LAST FALLEN REALM will hit bookshelves on June 6, 2023. It will end the Gifted Clans trilogy.
Send of all, Cassandra Clare will take a break after next year. I'd anticipate one that would be less than a year, but I honestly have no idea. CHAIN OF THORNS will still come out on January 31 and THE SWORD CATCHER next September. After her break, I'd expect THE WICKED POWERS 1 to come out in late 2024/early 2025 and THE RAGPICKER KING in late 2025. Finally, THE BLACK BOOK OF DEAD would theoretically come out in 2026, and THE WICKED POWERS 2&3 after that.

I've decided to stop maing RRP stuff (other than Aru Shah) because it seems that there isn't really a community around that other than the TPQ fandom. Sometime soon, I'll delete some chapters and maybe make lists with other fandoms

PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS (s1) is likely going to release in early 2024, according to a new blog post by Rick Riordan. If I were you, I'd expect an announcement at D23. Riordan has said that they are "operating under the assumption that [they] will be moving ahead with a second season". In other news, Riordan and Aditi Kapil have shared an outline with the execs at Disney+ and are starting a script. For Netflix, The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid's screenwriter is about halfway done. In book news, the Nico and Will book (co-written with Mark Oshiro) is going to have a title, release date, and cover very soon. There will also soon be news about the book Riordan is writing after the Nico one, and a TV development deal for his CURSED CARNIVAL short story. Finally, he said he's holding off on a MAGNUS CHASE adaptation for now but there will hopefully be one at some point.

I legitametly asked the author a question on a virtual book tour about whether PaoxEmma might happen and it was like the only question they skipped

By the way I'm just about to start re-reading THE LAST FALLEN STAR, then I'll move onto THE LAST FALLEN MOON and make a review -- the PAOLA SANTIAGO TRILOGY is going to have reviews after that! (and I might make some for some other books we'll see...)
