I dont think it was real, but it was fun to speculate in the beginning. I do think it quickly took an uncomfortable turn for everyone involved so I stoped talking about it and just read my fanfics in silence. I see a lot of people bringing up the fact that Lauren spoke on it a lot as evidenced that it was real to some capacity. I just think that’s an unfair assumption to make bc Lauren only spoke up bc it was affecting her actual relationships. To this day ppl still comment crazy things when she has a new partner. That paired with the fact that she’s the only one out of the two that’s openly queer of course she felt the need to speak on it. I’ve always felt that “Camren” negatively impacted her compared to Camila. Like because Camila never spoke on it and Lauren always shut it down a lot of Camren shippers have this weird animosity towards Lauren. Idk just something I’ve been noticing over the years. 

Yess 100% like i definitely feel like they had something going on that was more than friendly especially because Lauren reaction to Camila leaving ever since has just been like she’s holding a grudge cause she was so hurt

            I was in a hardcore camren spiral for a week or so there and now I'm out of it again so I'm not watching them much atm, I can't be delusional and nostalgic all the time lmao

@Dinahsbitch yeah I get that alot people think where I was alot younger I don't really remember much but I remember it all and watching the things over again bring memories and its sad to watch them but I enjoy watching them

@slt4cc Oh, see I am not on twitter at all so I really did not know that! I completely agree with everything that you have said, there is too many invasive shippers which continue to overstep boundaries. I understand why especially Lauren is how she is and why people really dislike camren shippers because majority of them active on social media are just too invasive and hateful which makes me ashamed of them for continuing to worsen the bad image we already have. 
            
            I love what camren was and think it WAS real but in the sense of irl, it's done and been done for a long time. Shippers need to stick to reading fanfics and leave the girls to it irl.

i like camren and all. and i do agree that there is no need to bring them up on either lauren or camila's posts. however, if you're on twitter, you'll see many of them being weird and invasive towards the girls' personal lives up untill now. i don't really follow lauren much on social media as i am more of a camila stan, but i've observed countless shippers attacking camila's relationships. just a few days ago there were numerous shippers hating on her boyfriend and making baseless assumptions about him. please don't take this the wrong way, im not here to defend him, im just stating how invasive and hurtful that would be to camila. the rumours also spread out online and create this negative narrative on camila. im not saying that they should like him, i just wish some of them would tone the negativity down and just ignore him. we can't force the the girls to date who we want them to. and personally, i really don't care who they end up with as long as they're happy and thriving. i think it's just better if those shippers are a bit more respectful and considerate of what they say because the narrative and the hate falls on their fave. 
            
            i know not all shippers are like that but i do understand where the distaste from other non shipper fans online are coming from. tho, that's just my two cents and i am in no way trying to spread hate or steer up any arguments here :D

@Dinahsbitch just go with the flow then, update as much as you like! I write 4k plus chapters so I can't write as many chapters super quick which is why I need to take a few days between updates
