Ya'll, I just had my birthday last weeeeeeek!
          
          Sorry that uploads have been so inconsistent lately, I'm attempting to graduate from college and keep my mental health and relationship afloat at the same time. 
          
          I promise I'll get more back into writing once I go home for the summer.

Guys, I'm going to be real with you. 
          
          I've considered it for a few months now, and with everything going on with graduating college, an ever-increasing workload, devoting time to my relationship with my partner, and trying to move out and find a job, I can't do it anymore. 
          
          I think I'm going to do a permanent hiatus on writing my books. I want to thank you all for the support and love over the past couple of years, and I hope that maybe one day, I'll come back and finish my stories.

          Working on new chapters of The Running Bear and Descent Into Mystery.

Me after finally finishing summer school and camping and getting ready to write again: I can finally leave! Martha, I'm coming home-
          
          Me being sick for the majority of the summer and getting COVID again yesterday: I'M BACK IN THE FUACKING BUILDING AGAIN
          
          So, I was planning on writing more of chapter 29 of The Running Bear and publishing it by next month, but I've been sick with a viral infection and COVID the majority of the summer. 
          
          I would definitely survive A Nightmare on Elm Street with the way I didn't get any sleep last night. 
          
          Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on. Don't worry, I'm not dead and I'm not retiring from this anytime soon. I've just been really sick this summer and it's taken a toll on me.

Soooooooooo, my birthday was yesterday (5/26). 
          
          I completely forgot to write anything about it, and I'm so sorry for that. :(
          
          I really wanted to post the next chapter of The Running Bear for that, but college has been kicking my ass. I got two projects to do for two different classes and skeletal remains to analyze every week. 
          
          BUT, I am working my little butt off to get it out to you guys soon. With a little something extra on the side. Consider it my belated birthday gift to you guys.

ya'll, my Wattpad account has been acting up for the past week now, so I'm SO SORRY for the delay in updates. 
          
          It keeps on saying drafts are published when they're not and whatnot, so it's really annoying. If ya'll get a notification that a draft is published, it's probably not the full chapter. Sorry.

Ya'll, I got a few announcements, so please listen up. 
          
          First off, Happy International Women's Day! 
          
          Speaking as a Native American woman, it means the world to me to be able to write what I love on here, and I am so happy to provide characters for other members of the Indigenous community to relate to. 
          
          Second, I was re-writing the script for this next chapter of The Running Bear when I realized something. 
          
          We're almost to the end of the book. 
          
          I know, I know! It's sad that this book is almost coming to an end after almost five years. I feel really sad about it too. I've loved developing Makwa as a character and making you guys laugh with the dumb references I add in my books. 
          
          BUT ANYWAY, I hope you guys are taking care of yourself. I know things right now are, *ahem* crazy. I live in America, so it's a lot over here right now.

Ya'll, I got a question. 
          
          I'm considering writing a Stolas x Fem! Reader fanfic in the near future because I'm starting to fall down the Helluva Boss rabbit hole. 
          
          After "Mastermind", I have been going on a Helluva Boss binge. 
          
          And holy shit, Stolas so FREAKING fine. 
          
          Too bad he's apparently canonically gay though. *sighs in woman*
          
          I still headcanon that he's bi or maybe pan. I'm an author, I can make up whatever shit I want for the sake of fanfiction. :D
          
          Would you guys actually READ IT though? I'm curious to know.
