Hey, hope you’re doing well! Did you know that 1 in 50 people suffer with autism, and over 90% of them are underemployed or unemployed? It is shocking that there is a 400% higher suicide rate in autistic people due to this crisis. I started working with a non profit company called Luv Michael, who train, educate, and employ autistic adults at their bakery in New York City. They provide their “Granologists”, or their employees, a great place to work and a very supportive environment. I had an awesome experience with it, so I wanted to continue that journey with Luv Michael, the organization I was volunteering for! I wanted to form a team with people who are willing to spread awareness about autism and advocate for autism acceptance. Of course, you will be able to gain service hours, but how much? You will get 40 hours if you join the team, and that too virtually! Anyone from anywhere can join, as long as they are 13+ in age!
