Y’all I was writing a part for the Tlok group chat and I was reading the ruins of the empire comic, and I just thought about something…
          
          Kuvira is a victim of the braid curse! She originally had a braid and we even see it in season three. 
          
          Even though it wasn’t as traumatic as characters like Rumi from K-pop demon hunter or jinx from arcane; or even Elsa from frozen. 
          She still a traumatized child with big family issues. And in ruins of the empire she asked commander guan to brainwash her so she’ll forget everything, and I thought  that it was sad bc thats like her way of self harm, she also took the risk of having her mind wiped when battar jr mentioned it while trying to help Asami. When you think about it like this it really puts her character into perspective in my opinion.
