Hello! I'm Lisa, a teenager, a Ghanaian and a Christian.
I'm really proud of myself, and even more so of @sereniity- for being such an inspiration in creating this profile. I believe she started this trend, which I intend to continue. I hope everyone who reads my bio follows suit. So, in no particular sequence, here are some of my favourite memory verses.
"To have knowledge, you must have reverence for the Lord," Proverbs 1:7 states emphatically.
And I must pay attention to this memory verse because I want to be able to recognise wisdom and good advise, grasp wise sayings, live wisely and honestly while being just and fair, become clever and resourceful, gain knowledge, and be guided by the Lord.
Proverbs 3:6 teaches us to "Remember the Lord in everything you do and He will show you the right way."
And you and I both know that once we're living, it's only prudent to live the right way, earning acceptable honour and reputation while having God guide us safely through a pleasant life. This brings me to another verse to remember.
Everyone desires a happy life, but it can only be attained if you have a new heart, which God has given to us.
"I will give you new hearts," God says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will instil in you a new spirit that will be loyal to me. I will take away your obstinate hearts. I'll give you hearts that follow my commands."
"When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come," 2 Corinthians 5:17 informs us of our new life. "The old is gone! The new is here!"
"God, create a pure heart in me. Give me a fresh spirit that is loyal to you," is a daily prayer you should say from Psalm 51:10.
These are a few of my favourite memory verses. Enjoy your day❤
