Hello there! I'm TheLiteraryEmissary. I am a 26 year old poet from Columbia, SC and have been a part of the creative writing scene since I was eight years old. My work is inspired by the poems of Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson and Sylvia Plath, along with a handful of Victorian writers that spurred my imagination growing up. 

Many of my poems will be inspired by the music I was listening to at the time, and I encourage you to plug in while reading my work; it makes the experience more spell bounding. 

I am hoping to, one day, compile a book of my works but right now I am still in the learning phase of poetry. It is a passion, it is my life, it is how I express whatever I am feeling.
