How can I be walking through a sea of people yet never feel more alone. I feel as if I live on a deserted, desolate planet inhabited only by me. I will admit some days I enjoy my own company and would rather be alone, but in just a flick of a switch I would feel as if I need company. I have waves of intruding thoughts surging through my mind. The wind whispers my anxieties into my ear reminding me of all the ways things could go wrong. Dark, gloomy storms draw in my depression crashing down on me. But then the clouds roll away showing me what waits ahead. I find wonderful fantasies that shelter me from this dastardly reality that I live in. Wonderful stories of fantasy and love. I walk through a cave that leads to my kingdom that is my right brain. In my own place I create and articulate my own workings. "Kat? Are you paying attention?" calls the people drawing me back to my prison. Welcome to the kingdom that is my right brain.

Just a random story idea I got. Excuse the difference in writing formats, I don't usually write short stories...
