I try to put unique spins on pre existing content. I prefer writing complex and nuanced characters that are different than clean cut good guys and bad guys. We live in a complex world and I like to write things that reflect that complexity. Framing the characters we like as being unable to do wrong and the characters we dislike being unable to do good is boring. To me anyway. I like writing real people. Succeptable to bias, corruption, hatred and vice. While also being a good, rationale, kind person. Purely because I think that's how people generally are.
