I've been very obsessed with writing historical and high-school stories lately, but I’ve already got like 15 story ideas sitting in my drafts, staring at me like the middle children. And I barely have time to write the two stories I’m already juggling. At this point, they’re just piling up like dust gathered, tragic little archive of chaos. I wish there were five versions of me so we could crank out five stories a day but sadly, reality said “lol, no.”

@TheMoonDamsel I understand! I'm the type of person that has to make myself focus on one thing, I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I have to over analyze everything, otherwise the ending result just disappoints me

@Jillybean61085 You’re right, it’s the only smart and responsible option, and I really should do that. But sometimes when I’m writing a new story, the urge to just upload it gets sooo strong. Like the excitement takes over and my brain goes, ‘post it now, they need to see this!’ It gets a little overwhelming because it feels so good to write.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know to backup your stories. Apparently, a bunch of non shippers are going around mass reporting stories that ship, and wattpad is deleting the stories that get reported!

@TheMoonDamsel Exactly, or if wattpad actually investigated instead of just deleting a story because it got reported.This whole site is littered with ship stories, not just BTS, it has actors, singers, and character names that are being used to write stories, so it's crazy to me that wattpad doesn't have a better system in place to handle these situations. I've talked to authors, and their stories have been reported for things that weren't even in the story, so wattpad needs to do better when it comes to protecting their authors, because the authors are primarily why the site exists!

@Jillybean61085 I get what you mean. It’s really discouraging to see people’s work taken down after they’ve put so much time and heart into it. I try not to assume bad intentions, but the whole situation is definitely frustrating for everyone involved. I just wish reporting was used more thoughtfully so creators wouldn’t have to worry so much.

@TheMoonDamsel Na man, those jerks that are going around reporting people are what worry me. It's ridiculous that they think it's okay to just disrupt and ruin someone's hard work! Like how much of an asshole do you have to be to meddle in something that has nothing to do with them and isn't harming celebrities in any way. It's very odd to me!

Hey guys! I just wanted to drop in and say something important.
Please remember that it’s okay to slow down. You don’t have to keep up with everything all the time. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause. Step back once and take a breath. Give yourself credit for everything you’ve been carrying and everything you’ve survived. You deserve rest just as much as you deserve growth.
Don’t be too hard on yourselves. Cut yourself some slack, take things at your own pace, and remember that taking care of yourself is not selfish. It’s necessary.
And just so you know... I’m really, really proud of you.❤️
