It was winter. Freezing. But not for certain creatures in the forest. The Mountain Prowlers were asleep in their home - a territory in the Rocky Mountains where no Demon dare went; if they did, they were the dangerous or curious kind. An average gray she-wolf with brown eyes lay peacefully in the Alpha's den, listening to sounds of the night. This was the only female wolf who had ever fought for a place as Alpha. She had beaten each male who'd also gone for it. She was respected. She was kind, despite what others may have said. This was Maya. She is, was and will be your Alpha Female.
