I am a writer deeply drawn to gothic literature-its obsession with decay, longing, and the quiet terror of what lingers beneath the surface. I write from a fascination with darkness not as spectacle, but as atmosphere: the slow rot of hope, the beauty of sorrow, and the way humanity reveals itself most clearly when pressed against despair. My work is heavily influenced by classic and modern gothic traditions, where emotion outweighs action and inner torment carries as much weight as external horror. I am particularly interested in themes of transformation, moral erosion, and the fragile boundary between monster and victim. Rather than offering clear answers or clean redemption, I write stories that sit with discomfort and ask the reader to do the same. Writing, for me, is a way of exploring loss, endurance, and the unspoken parts of the self. I am less concerned with heroes and more interested in survivors-those who continue not because they are strong, but because stopping is no longer an option.
