New sneak peak for the continuation of SOPT:
“Alright, you may come.” Shuna’s eyes lit up, and a radiant smile spread across her face, eliciting a warm smile from Hiromitsu. “Very well then, the other monks are preparing to embark on the search for the temple.”
She trailed behind the old monk to the upper deck. The other monks were busily unloading crates from the ship, hauling them onto the sandy beach in preparation for their expedition. Once they had gathered all the necessary supplies for their quest, they disembarked from the boat. Hiromitsu hoisted Shuna onto his shoulder, much like her father used to do.
Their search stretched on for hours, leading them to take a respite by a tranquil pond. “How close are we to finding the temple, Monk Anzan?” Hiromitsu inquired, his voice echoing in the stillness. Anzan retrieved a medallion from his robe. “We’ve scoured the entire island, Hiromitsu, and we’ve found no trace of the Temple of Light. It seems that the temple might just be a myth.” He confessed, a hint of melancholy tingeing his voice. Their search might have been in vain.
“The medallion hasn’t resonated with any location on this island,” Hiromitsu sighed, his gaze drifting away. “Where could the temple be concealed?” He mumbled to himself. For a few moments, his gaze was distant; his mind was awash with a whirlpool of confusion. Where was the Temple of Light? Was it even real? If it wasn’t, had their search been for naught?
