oh wow it's almost 2024 already where did the time go-

i wrote another book lmao, let's see how long it takes before i forget about it-i hope i don't though because i really like it and i think i've grown as a writer the last six years (or at least, i hope so)

screaming in agony rn, i wanna write something that isn't poetry for once, but i have too many ideas and no starting point or definite plotline for any of them, i'm gonna frigging gujvhvujabvuv-

          so 
          my boyfriend bought me a laptop a little while ago (like a month ago now?????) and this means i don't have to worry about my search history being seen by my family because i'm not sharing a computer with them anymore- that's to say i might be a little more active here this time around (especially since it's summertime), and hopefully here on out. still don't expect frequent updates, i'm just saying there ***might*** a more regular schedule once i get a thing i'm doing out lmfao-
          anyway, how is everyone? what's been going on lately that i've missed?

          i turned sixteen nearly two months ago, and i can't help but feel a wee bit of existential dread because i'm now less than two years away from becoming a legal adult. twice the responsibilities, none of the freedoms, mega F, but it can't be helped.

literally might just leave the app at this point--sophomore year started a little while ago and i have no energy and even less time to keep up here. if i update any books, it'll be on my own time lol, but don't expect regular updates on anything here anymore until further notice. that said, thank you all for the last six-ish years here, i appreciate all of you and i hope you all do well in your individual lives.

sometimes i realise how average i am, and that makes me sad. but then i remember that i'm average, so that's a comforting thought. i would like to be smart, people say i am, but i doubt it. i don't like being a political statement just because i'm black, because i don't like justifying my existence. i'm so lazy, but it's gotten me this far. yes i type with British spelling most of the time, boo hoo. flowers are nice. the meteorologists have lied, why do they lie? i just want some thunderstorms. where are the fireflies? this has been my week.
