@DullSunrise I'm just glad they didn't force Pidge and Hunk into anything because their friendship is bomb and absolute goals. Tbh out of all the ships that's really the most obvious one I'd expect to become canon but I'm glad they decided against it. Off topic but can I just say I love how smart the show portrays Klance? I don't ship it and I'm probably over analyzing this but it's definitely more subtle and not as in-your-face like Sheith is most of the time. Like, Keith and Shiro will say things that mirror eachother often ("Glad to have you back; Glad to be back" etc.) But Klance does it over a longer period of time and it's not so noticeable. Like how Keith in an earlier season was all like "wE hAd a bOnDiNg mOmEnT i cRaDlEd yOu iN mY aRmS?!?!??!?!" And then in season 5/6 when he came back with Krolia and Romelle to bust Lotor's ass Lance opens his arms for a hug and Keith just wAlKs bY- Also yeah it was never mention how Allura could pass over her Altean markings at all???? Like, she just smooched him and marks showed up? Nobody gave him or her a weird look at all which is??? Bruh???

@DullSunrise i totally agree that character development was totally nonexistent?? it also kinda felt pointless that they would build up on lance and allura's relationship in one or two episodes (which were sweet but forced af) and then they'd kill her off only a couple episodes later??? i was just confused by the end of it all but from what i've read some of the fans were livid at the end. people were even targeting allurance shippers and harassing them. like, i'm not new to fandoms harassing people about ships (i got called a pedo abuser for shipping sheith yesterday lmao) but like??? don't harass people just because they ship something you don't agree with??? anyway this is really long sjjsjsuz but yeah some of season 7 and all of season 8 had little to no substance whatsoever.

@DullSunrise Honestly I could watch the first six seasons in one sitting right now if I had the time but honestly seven and eight didn't have the same charm. Even when there was a serious arc/plot or hell even when minor characters died I was so bored out of my mind that I forgot what was going on in the first place.
